kaiser rolls


since i made some not so good rolls for my sons birthday lunch a couple of weeks ago i've been making rolls regularly and the kaiser roll stamp i bought a few months ago is finally getting used..


100% wholemeal organic spelt yeasted rolls

organic white sourdough rolls

organic white and wholemeal spelt 'in it goes (left over milk from coffee
making and a broken egg that was stuck to the egg carton)' rolls

the kaiser roll stamp was purchased from scullery made

    1. thanks celia..i wouldn't have even known what a bread stamp was were it not for earlier posts of yours and other fabulous bread bakers..i didn't go looking for it but when i saw it i just had to have it..i'm sure you know what i mean! x

  2. I love Kaiser rolls. I wonder if it has something to do with my German heritage? Probably not...more likely it's something to do with the regularity of those gorgeous lines and a bread stamp is something new to me. Cheers for sharing and hope you are enjoying what remains of your weekend :)
